Registered Massage Therapy

Stephanie Rogers, RMT

Stephanie is a registered massage therapist who combines various techniques including Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, neuromuscular facilitation, joint mobilizations and soft tissue release.

Stephanie came to massage therapy through her own healing journey where hands-on therapeutic modalities like massage, osteopathy and craniosacral therapy helped her to deeply reconnect her body, mind and heart.

Stephanie shapes her sessions based on her clients’ needs — sometimes more targeted deep tissue work is required to create a healing release while other times a more subtle and gentle approach is what restores balance and harmony to the body.

Stephanie is a graduate of Ontario’s Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy and Teaching Clinic. She has also studied at the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy and The Cranial Therapy Centre in Toronto. She is currently a member of good standing of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.

Stephanie is interested in spaces where movement and mindfulness meet and has studied different forms of yoga, qi gong and tai chi. She translates this practice onto the massage table by inviting her clients to work with breath or visualizations to help deepen releases and encourage more holistic healing.

Stephanie has treated both acute and chronic physical conditions such as TMJ-related pain and headaches, frozen shoulder, low back pain, sprains and strains, bursitis, plantar fasciitis and posture-related dysfunctions. She has also helped clients experiencing physical symptoms related to stress, anxiety and grief such as head, neck and shoulder tension, digestive issues and insomnia.

Stephanie has recently moved from Toronto to her hometown of Calgary and is excited to set up her massage table back in Big Sky country.
